حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى الْحُلْوَانِيُّ قَالَ: نَا عَتِيقُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ الزُّبَيْرِيُّ قَالَ: نَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، وَعَمِّهِ عُبَيْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ

أَنَّ ابْنَ عُمَرَ، كَانَ " إِذَا افْتَتَحَ الصَّلَاةَ يَبْدَأُ بِ - بِسْمِ اللهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ فِي أُمِّ الْقُرْآنِ، وَفِي السُّورَةِ الَّتِي تَلِيهَا "، وَيَذْكُرُ أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ ذَلِكَ مِنْ رَسُولِ اللهِ

✧ Ibn Umar, when he began the prayer, used to start with 'In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful' in the Opening of the Book (al-Fatihah) and in the surah that followed it, and he mentioned that he heard that from the Messenger of Allah.
