حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى الْحُلْوَانِيُّ قَالَ: نَا عَتِيقُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ قَالَ: نَا عَبْدُ الْعَزِيزِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الدَّرَاوَرْدِيُّ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَجْلَانَ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ. عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ - ﷺ

كَانَ " يَشْرَبُ فِي ثَلَاثَةِ أَنْفَاسٍ، إِذَا أَدْنَى الْإِنَاءَ إِلَى فِيهِ سَمَّى اللهَ، فَإِذَا أَخَّرَهُ حَمِدَ اللهَ، يَفْعَلُ بِهِ ثَلَاثَ مَرَّاتٍ

Translation

✧ He used to drink in three breaths. When he brought the vessel near his mouth, he would mention Allah's name, and when he moved it away, he would praise Allah. He would do that three times.
