✧ The menstruating woman should observe what is between her and ten days. If she sees purity, she is pure. If she exceeds ten, she is in a state of istihada; she should perform ghusl and pray. If the blood overcomes her, she should insert cotton, secure it, and perform wudu for every prayer. The woman in postnatal bleeding should wait what is between her and forty nights. If she sees purity before that, she is pure. If she exceeds forty, she is in the position of one in istihada; she should perform ghusl and pray. If the blood overcomes her, she should insert cotton, secure it, and perform wudu for every prayer.
