حَدَّثَنَا مُوسَى بْنُ زَكَرِيَّا، نَا أَزْهَرُ بْنُ مَرْوَانَ الرَّقَاشِيُّ، نَا عَبْدُ الْوَهَّابِ الثَّقَفِيُّ، نَا هِشَامُ بْنُ حَسَّانَ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ شَبِيبٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الْمَلِكِ بْنِ عُمَيْرٍ، عَنْ عَطِيَّةَ الْقُرَظِيِّ قَالَ:

كُنْتُ فِيمَنْ حَكَمَ فِيهِ سَعْدُ بْنُ مُعَاذٍ، فَحَكَمَ فِي بَنِي قُرَيْظَةَ أَنْ يُقْتَلَ مُقَاتِلَتُهُمْ، وَيُسْبَى ذَرَارِيُّهُمْ، فَنَظَرَ إِلَيَّ، فَلَمْ أُنْبِتْ، فَأَلْحَقَنِي بِالسَّبْيِ

✧ I was among those about whom Sa'd b. Mu'adh gave judgment. He ruled regarding Banu Qurayzah that their fighters be killed and their women and children taken captive. He looked at me, and since I had not yet grown pubic hair, he joined me with the captives.
