Translation

✧ I was riding behind the Messenger of God ﷺ on a donkey, and he said to me, "O Muadh, what is the right of God upon the servants?" I said, "God and His Messenger know best." He said, "That they worship Him and do not associate anything with Him." Then he said, "O Muadh, what is the right of the servants upon God if they do that?" I said, "God and His Messenger know best." He said, "That He not punish them."
