حَدَّثَنَا مُوسَى بْنُ هَارُونَ، ثَنَا كَامِلُ بْنُ طَلْحَةَ، ثَنَا ابْنُ لَهِيعَةَ، عَنْ كَعْبِ بْنِ عَلْقَمَةَ قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ أَبَا النَّجْمِ، أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ أَبَا ذَرٍّ، ؓ، يَقُولُ: إِنَّهُ سَمِعَ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ:
إِنَّهُ سَيَكُونُ رَجُلٌ مِنْ بَنِي أُمَيَّةَ بِمِصْرَ يَلِي سُلْطَانًا، ثُمَّ يُغْلَبُ عَلَى سُلْطَانِهِ، أَوْ يُنْزَعُ مِنْهُ، ثُمَّ يَفِرُّ إِلَى الرُّومِ، فَيَأْتِي الرُّومُ إِلَى أَهْلِ الْإِسْلَامِ، فَتِلْكَ أَوَّلُ الْمَلَاحِمِ

✧ There will be a man from Banu Umayyah in Egypt who will assume authority, then he will be overcome in his authority or it will be taken from him, then he will flee to the Romans, and the Romans will come against the people of Islam; that is the first of the great battles.
