حَدَّثَنَا مُوسَى بْنُ هَارُونَ، نَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ رَاهَوَيْهِ، أَنَا رَوْحُ بْنُ عُبَادَةَ، نَا ابْنُ جُرَيْجٍ، عَنْ جَعْفَرِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ

أَنَّ قَوْمًا شَكَوْا إِلَى النَّبِيِّ ﷺ الْمَشْيَ، فَقَالَ: عَلَيْكُمْ بِالنَّسَلَانِ. قَالَ: فَنَسَلْنَا، فَوَجَدْنَاهُ أَخَفَّ

✧ A people complained to the Prophet ﷺ about walking, so he said, “You should use the nasalān (a brisk pace).” He said, “So we did nasalān and found it lighter.”
