حَدَّثَنَا مُوسَى بْنُ هَارُونَ، ثَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ الْمُنْذِرِ الْحِزَامِيُّ، ثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ مُوسَى التَّيْمِيُّ، عَنْ أُسَامَةَ بْنِ زَيْدٍ، عَنْ أَبِي مُرَارَةَ الْجُهَنِيِّ، عَنِ ابْنِ سِعْرٍ الدُّؤَلِيِّ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ قَالَ:
كُنْتُ فِي نَاحِيَةِ مَكَّةَ، فَجَاءَ رَجُلٌ فَسَلَّمَ وَأَنَا بَيْنَ ظَهْرَانَيْ غَنَمٍ لِي، فَقُلْتُ: مَنْ أَنْتَ ؟ فَقَالَ: أَنَا رَسُولُ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ، فَقُلْتُ: مَرْحَبًا بِرَسُولِ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ وَأَهْلًا، فَمَا تُرِيدُ ؟ قَالَ: أُرِيدُ صَدَقَةَ غَنَمِكَ. قَالَ: فَجِئْتُهُ بِشَاةٍ مَاخِضٍ حِينَ مَا وُلِدَتْ، فَلَمَّا نَظَرَ إِلَيْهَا قَالَ: " لَيْسَ حَقُّنَا فِي هَذِهِ ". قُلْتُ: فَفِيمَ حَقُّكَ ؟ قَالَ: " فِي الثَّنِيَّةِ، وَالْجَذَعَةِ اللَّحْيَةِ"

✧ I was in the vicinity of Makkah when a man came and greeted me while I was among my sheep. I said, 'Who are you?' He said, 'I am the messenger of the Messenger of God ﷺ.' I said, 'Welcome to the messenger of the Messenger of God ﷺ! What do you want?' He said, 'I want the zakat of your sheep.' So I brought him a ewe that had just given birth. When he saw it, he said, 'Our right is not in this one.' I said, 'Then in what is your right?' He said, 'In the thaniyyah (a sheep in its third year) and the jadha'ah (a sheep in its second year) and the lahyah (one with a beard-like mark).'
