✧ Abu Talhah saw the Messenger of Allah ﷺ binding his stomach with a stone from hunger. He said: 'O Umm Sulaym, I saw the Messenger of Allah ﷺ binding his stomach with a stone from hunger. Prepare some food for him.' She made a flatbread like the size of a sandgrouse. He invited the Prophet ﷺ, and the Messenger of Allah ﷺ took the flatbread. Then Umm Sulaym brought a small butter skin and squeezed it, producing about a date-stone's amount of ghee, and she seasoned the flatbread with it. Then he invoked blessing over it and said: 'Invite the people of the mosque.' He invited them, and seventy men ate from that flatbread. Then the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and those in the house ate, then he sent some of it to his wives, and there remained more than there had been.
