حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى الْحُلْوَانِيُّ قَالَ: نَا سَعِيدُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ، عَنْ عَبَّادِ بْنِ الْعَوَّامِ، عَنِ الْعَلَاءِ بْنِ الْمُسَيِّبِ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ. عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ لَهَا:

يَا عَائِشَةُ، هَذَا جِبْرِيلُ يَقْرَأُ عَلَيْكِ السَّلَامَ. فَقُلْتُ: وَعَلَيْهِ السَّلَامُ وَرَحْمَةُ اللهِ وَبَرَكَاتُهُ، فَذَهَبَتْ تَزِيدُ، فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ: " إِلَى هَذَا انْتَهَى السَّلَامُ ". فَقَالَ: " رَحْمَةُ اللهِ وَبَرَكَاتُهُ عَلَيْكُمْ أَهْلَ الْبَيْتِ

✧ "O Aisha, this is Jibril reciting peace upon you." I said, "And upon him be peace and the mercy of Allah and His blessings." She went on to add more, but the Prophet ﷺ said, "Peace ends at this." Then he said, "May the mercy of Allah and His blessings be upon you, O people of the house."
