حَدَّثَنَا مَحْمُودُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ، ثَنَا أَبُو سَلَمَةَ يَحْيَى بْنُ خَلَفٍ، ثَنَا عَبْدُ الْأَعْلَى، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ إِسْحَاقَ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ أَبِي بَكْرٍ، عَنْ عَمْرَةَ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، وَعَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ الْقَاسِمِ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، قَالَتْ:

نَزَلَتْ آيَةُ الرَّجْمِ، وَرَضَاعُ الْكَبِيرِ عَشْرًا، فَلَقَدْ كَانَ فِي صَحِيفَةٍ تَحْتَ سَرِيرِي، فَلَمَّا مَاتَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ تَشَاغَلْنَا بِمَوْتِهِ، فَدَخَلَ دَاجِنٌ فَأَكَلَهَا "

✧ The verse of stoning and the suckling of an adult ten times were revealed, and it was in a sheet under my bed. When the Messenger of Allah ﷺ died, we were distracted by his death, and a domestic animal entered and ate it.
