حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ، نَا أَبِي، ثَنَا أَبُو دَاوُدَ الطَّيَالِسِيُّ، ثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ بُدَيْلِ بْنِ مَيْسَرَةَ الْعُقَيْلِيُّ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ أَبِي الْجَوْزَاءِ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، قَالَتْ:

كَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ يَفْتَتِحُ الصَّلَاةَ بِالتَّكْبِيرِ، وَالْقِرَاءَةِ بِـ الْحَمْدُ لِلهِ رَبِّ الْعَالَمِينَ فَإِذَا رَكَعَ لَمْ يَخْفِضْ رَأْسَهُ وَلَمْ يَرْفَعْهُ، وَلَكِنْ بَيْنَ ذَلِكَ، وَكَانَ يَقُولُ فِي كُلِّ رَكْعَتَيْنِ التَّحِيَّاتِ، وَكَانَ يَخْتِمُ الصَّلَاةَ بِالتَّسْلِيمِ

✧ The Messenger of God ﷺ used to open the prayer with the takbir and the recitation of 'Al-hamdu lillahi rabb al-alamin' [Quran 1:2]. When he bowed, he did not lower his head nor raise it, but kept it in between. He used to say in every two rak'ahs the tashahhud, and he used to conclude the prayer with the taslim.
