حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ الْوَشَّاءُ، نَا زَيْدُ بْنُ الْحَرِيشِ، ثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الزِّبْرِقَانِ، عَنْ هُدْبَةَ بْنِ الْمِنْهَالِ، عَنْ قَابُوسِ بْنِ أَبِي ظِبْيَانَ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ
أَنَّهُ أَرْسَلَ إِلَى عَائِشَةَ، فَسَأَلَهَا عَنْ صَلَاةِ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ ؟ فَقَالَتْ: كَانَ يُصَلِّي وَيَدَعُ، وَلَكِنْ لَمْ أَرَهُ تَرَكَ الرَّكْعَتَيْنِ قَبْلَ صَلَاةِ الْفَجْرِ، فِي سَفَرٍ وَلَا حَضَرٍ، وَلَا صِحَّةٍ وَلَا سُقْمٍ ".

✧ He sent to 'A'ishah and asked her about the prayer of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ. She said: "He used to pray and leave off, but I never saw him omit the two rak'ahs before the dawn prayer, whether travelling or resident, healthy or ill."
