✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said to the Muslims in Makkah when their tribes were harsh to them: 'Spread out in the land,' so they dispersed to the land of Abyssinia. Quraysh sent 'Abd Allah b. Abi Rabi'a and 'Amr b. al-'As. Among what 'Amr and 'Abd Allah said to the Negus was: 'They do not greet you with the greeting with which those of us who enter upon you greet you.' He said to Ja'far and his companions: 'Why do you not greet me as your companions greet?' They said: 'We greet you with the greeting of our Prophet ﷺ: Peace.'
