حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ نُوحِ بْنِ حَرْبٍ، ثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَكَّارٍ الْعَيْشِيُّ، ثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عُثْمَانَ الْقُرَشِيُّ، ثَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ دِرْهَمٍ، عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ قَالَ:
مَرَّ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ عَلَى أُنَاسٍ بِمَكَّةَ، فَجَعَلُوا يَغْمِزُونَ فِي قَفَاهُ، وَيَقُولُونَ: هَذَا الَّذِي يَزْعُمُ أَنَّهُ نَبِيٌّ، وَمَعَهُ جِبْرِيلُ، فَغَمَزَ جِبْرِيلُ بِإِصْبَعِهِ، فَوَقَعَ مِثْلُ الظُّفْرِ فِي أَجْسَادِهِمْ، فَصَارَتْ قُرُوحًا، حَتَّى نَتُنُوا، فَلَمْ يَسْتَطِعْ أَحَدٌ أَنْ يَدْنُوَ مِنْهُمْ " فَأَنْزَلَ اللهُ: إِنَّا كَفَيْنَاكَ الْمُسْتَهْزِئِينَ
Translation

✧ The Prophet ﷺ passed by some people in Makkah, and they began to poke at the back of his neck and say, 'This is the one who claims he is a prophet, and with him is Jibril.' Jibril poked with his finger, and something like a fingernail fell on their bodies and became sores, until they stank, and no one could approach them. Then Allah revealed: 'Indeed, We have sufficed you against the mockers.'
