وَبِهِ: حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ وَاقِدٍ، عَنْ عَطَاءِ بْنِ السَّائِبِ، عَنِ الشَّعْبِيِّ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، عَنْ أُبَيِّ بْنِ كَعْبٍ قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ، يَقُولُ:

لَوْ كَانَ لِلْإِنْسَانِ وَادِيَانِ مِنَ الْمَالِ لَالْتَمَسَ الثَّالِثَ، وَلَا يَمْلَأُ بَطْنَ الْإِنْسَانِ إِلَّا التُّرَابُ، ثُمَّ يَتُوبُ اللهُ عَلَى مَنْ تَابَ

Translation

✧ If a person had two valleys of wealth, he would seek a third, and nothing fills a person's belly but dust. Then God turns [in mercy] to whoever repents.
