وَبِهِ: حَدَّثَنَا الْوَلِيدُ بْنُ مُسْلِمٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ بْنِ الْحُصَيْنِ، عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي نَجِيحٍ، عَنْ مُجَاهِدٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ

فِي قَوْلِ اللهِ: وَاذْكُرْ رَبَّكَ إِذَا نَسِيتَ قَالَ: " إِذَا نَسِيتَ الِاسْتِثْنَاءَ فَاسْتَثْنِ إِذَا ذَكَرْتَ " قَالَ: " هِيَ لِرَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ خَاصَّةً، وَلَيْسَ لِأَحَدٍ مِنَّا أَنْ يَسْتَثْنِيَ، إِلَّا بِصِلَةِ الْيَمِينِ

✧ Regarding the words of Allah: 'And remember your Lord when you forget,' he said: 'If you forget to make an exception, then make it when you remember.' He said: 'This is specific to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, and none of us may make an exception except in connection with an oath.'
