حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَبِي زُرْعَةَ، ثَنَا هِشَامُ بْنُ عَمَّارٍ، حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي عَمَّارُ بْنُ نُصَيْرٍ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ سَعِيدٍ الْخَوْلَانِيِّ، عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ
أَنَّ سَلَامَةَ حَاضِنَةَ إِبْرَاهِيمَ ابْنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَتْ: يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ، تُبَشِّرُ الرِّجَالَ بِكُلِّ خَيْرٍ وَلَا تُبَشِّرُ النِّسَاءَ ؟ قَالَ: " أَصْحَابُكِ دَسَسْنَكِ لِهَذَا ؟ " قَالَتْ: أَجَلْ، هُنَّ أَمَرْنَنِي قَالَ: أَفَمَا تَرْضَى إِحْدَاكُنَّ أَنَّهَا إِذَا كَانَتْ حَامِلًا مِنْ زَوْجِهَا، وَهُوَ عَنْهَا رَاضٍ أَنَّ لَهَا مِثْلَ أَجْرِ الصَّائِمِ الْقَائِمِ فِي سَبِيلِ اللهِ، فَإِذَا أَصَابَهَا الطَّلْقُ لَمْ يَعْلَمْ أَهْلُ السَّمَاءِ وَأَهْلُ الْأَرْضِ مَا أُخْفِيَ لَهَا مِنْ قُرَّةِ أَعْيُنٍ، فَإِذَا وَضَعَتْ لَمْ يَخْرُجْ مِنْهَا جَرْعَةٌ مِنْ لَبَنِهَا، وَلَمْ يَمُصَّ مَصَّةً إِلَّا كَانَ لَهَا بِكُلِّ جَرْعَةٍ وَبِكُلِّ مَصَّةٍ حَسَنَةٌ، فَإِنْ أَسْهَرَهَا لَيْلَةً كَانَ لَهَا مِثْلُ أَجْرِ سَبْعِينَ رَقَبَةً تُعْتِقُهُنَّ فِي سَبِيلِ اللهِ. سَلَامَةُ، تَدْرِي لِمَنْ أَعْنِي بِهَذَا ؟ لِلْمُتَمَتِّعَاتِ، الصَّالِحَاتِ، الْمُطِيعَاتِ لِأَزْوَاجِهِنَّ، اللَّوَاتِي لَا يَكْفُرْنَ الْعَشِيرَ
Translation

✧ Salama, the nursemaid of Ibrahim the son of the Prophet ﷺ, said: 'O Messenger of God, you give glad tidings to men of every good but you do not give glad tidings to women?' He said: 'Did your companions send you for this?' She said: 'Yes, they ordered me.' He said: 'Would not any one of you be pleased that when she is pregnant from her husband and he is pleased with her, she has the like of the reward of one who fasts and stands in prayer in the path of God? Then when labour pains strike her, the inhabitants of heaven and earth do not know what has been hidden for her of delight of the eyes. Then when she gives birth, no sip comes out of her milk nor does the child suck a suck except that for every sip and every suck there is a good deed for her. Then if the child keeps her awake a night, she has the like of the reward of seventy slaves whom she frees in the path of God. Salama, do you know for whom I intend this? For the women who are content, righteous, obedient to their husbands, those who do not deny the husband's favours.'
