✧ One of the Banu Ja‘far b. Abi Talib came to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and said: “May my father and mother be your ransom, O Messenger of Allah, send with me someone to buy me sandals and a ring.” So the Prophet ﷺ called Bilal b. Rabah and said: “Go to the market and buy him sandals; let them be new, and not black. And buy him a ring whose stone is carnelian.”
