وَبِهِ: نَا ابْنُ وَهْبٍ، أَخْبَرَنِي جَرِيرُ بْنُ حَازِمٍ، أَنَّ قَتَادَةَ بْنَ دِعَامَةَ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنِي أَنَسُ بْنُ مَالِكٍ
أَنَّ رَجُلًا جَاءَ إِلَى رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ وَقَدْ تَوَضَّأَ، وَقَدْ تَرَكَ عَلَى قَدَمَيْهِ مِثْلَ مَوْضِعِ الظُّفْرِ، فَقَالَ لَهُ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ: ارْجِعْ، فَأَحْسِنِ وُضُوءَكَ.

✧ A man came to the Messenger of God ﷺ after performing ablution, and he had left on his feet a spot the size of a fingernail dry. The Messenger of God ﷺ said to him: Go back and perfect your ablution.
