حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ رُزَيْقِ بْنِ جَامِعٍ الْمِصْرِيُّ، ثَنَا عَبْدَةُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحِيمِ الْمَرْوَزِيُّ، نَا حَمْزَةُ بْنُ عُمَيْرٍ، كَاتِبُ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ الْمُبَارَكِ، عَنْ أَيُّوبَ بْنِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ أَبِي يَحْيَى الْمُعَلِّمِ، عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ الصَّائِغِ، عَنْ أَبِي خَالِدٍ الضَّبِّيِّ، عَنْ أَبِي دَاوُدَ، عَنْ مَعْقِلِ بْنِ يَسَارٍ، قَالَ:

أَمَرَنِي رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ أَنْ أَقْضِيَ بَيْنَ قَوْمِي "، فَقُلْتُ: مَا أُحْسِنُ الْقَضَاءَ، فَقَالَ: اقْضِ بَيْنَهُمْ، فَإِنَّ اللهَ مَعَ الْقَاضِي مَا لَمْ يَحِفْ عَمْدًا

✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ ordered me to judge between my people. I said: 'I am not good at judging.' He said: 'Judge between them, for Allah is with the judge as long as he does not deliberately incline to injustice.'
