حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَمْرِو بْنِ خَالِدٍ الْحَرَّانِيُّ، حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي، ثَنَا مُجَاهِدُ بْنُ سَعِيدِ بْنِ أَبِي زَيْنَبَ الْأَشْجَعِيُّ، ثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ مَالِكِ بْنِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ الْأَشْتَرِ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ جَدِّهِ
أَنَّ عُمَرَ بْنَ الْخَطَّابِ ذَكَرَ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ، ثُمَّ قَالَ لَهُمْ: إِنَّ يَدَ اللهِ عَلَى الْجَمَاعَةِ، وَالْفَذُّ مَعَ الشَّيْطَانِ، وَإِنَّ الْحَقَّ أَصْلٌ فِي الْجَنَّةِ، وَإِنَّ الْبَاطِلَ أَصْلٌ فِي النَّارِ، أَلَا وَإِنَّ أَصْحَابِي خِيَارُكُمْ، فَأَكْرِمُوهُمْ، ثُمَّ الْقَرْنَ الَّذِينَ يَلُونَهُمْ، ثُمَّ الْقَرْنَ الَّذِينَ يَلُونَهُمْ، ثُمَّ يَظْهَرُ الْكَذِبُ وَالْهَرْجُ
Translation

✧ Umar b. al-Khattab mentioned the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, then said to them: The hand of Allah is upon the congregation, and the solitary one is with Satan. And the truth is a root in Paradise, and falsehood is a root in the Fire. Indeed, my companions are the best of you, so honor them, then the generation that follows them, then the generation that follows them, then lying and turmoil will appear.
