✧ I said: O Messenger of God, my age has grown old and my bones have become thin, so guide me to a deed that will admit me into Paradise. He said: Excellent, excellent! You have asked! Glorify God one hundred times, and that is better for you than one hundred slaves you would set free. Praise God one hundred times, and that is better for you than one hundred saddled and bridled horses you would ride in the way of God. Declare God’s greatness one hundred times, and that is better for you than one hundred garlanded and adorned camels you would send to the House of God Most High. And say: There is no god but God, one hundred times, and that is better for you than all that the heavens and the earth encompass. And on that day no deed will be raised for anyone better than what will be raised for you, except one who says the like of what you said or more.
