حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ حَنِيفَةَ الْوَاسِطِيُّ، قَالَ: نَا عَمِّي، قَالَ: نَا أَبِي، قَالَ: ثَنَا خَلَفُ بْنُ خَلِيفَةَ، عَنْ أَبَانَ الْمُعَلِّمِ، عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ سَعِيدٍ الْأَنْصَارِيِّ، عَنْ سَعْدِ بْنِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، عَنِ الْحَكَمِ بْنِ مِينَاءَ، عَنْ يَزِيدَ بْنِ جَارِيَةَ الْأَنْصَارِيِّ، قَالَ:
كُنَّا جُلُوسًا حَوْلَ سَرِيرِ مُعَاوِيَةَ، فَقَالَ: مَا كُنْتُمْ تُحَدِّثُونَهُ ؟ قَالُوا: كُنَّا فِي حَدِيثٍ مِنْ حَدِيثِ الْأَنْصَارِ، فَقَالَ: أَلَا أُحَدِّثُكُمْ بِحَدِيثٍ سَمِعْتُهُ مِنْ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ ؟ قَالُوا: بَلَى، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ: مَنْ أَحَبَّ الْأَنْصَارَ أَحَبَّهُ اللهُ، وَمَنْ أَبْغَضَ الْأَنْصَارَ أَبْغَضَهُ اللهُ

✧ We were sitting around Mu'awiya's bed, and he said: What were you talking about? They said: We were discussing one of the reports about the Ansar. He said: Shall I not tell you a hadith I heard from the Messenger of Allah ﷺ? They said: Yes. He said: I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say: Whoever loves the Ansar, Allah loves him, and whoever hates the Ansar, Allah hates him.
