حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مُوسَى الْأُبُلِّيُّ، قَالَ: نَا عُمَرُ بْنُ يَحْيَى الْأُبُلِّيُّ، قَالَ: ثَنَا الْحَارِثُ بْنُ غَسَّانَ، عَنْ أَبِي عِمْرَانَ الْجَوْنِيِّ، عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ:
إِذَا كَانَ يَوْمُ الْقِيَامَةِ جِيءَ بِالْأَعْمَالِ فِي صُحُفٍ مُخَتَّمَةٍ، فَيَقُولُ تَبَارَكَ وَتَعَالَى: اقْبَلُوا هَذَا وَدَعُوا هَذَا، فَتَقُولُ الْمَلَائِكَةُ: وَعِزَّتِكَ مَا كَتَبْنَا إِلَّا مَا عَمِلَ، قَالَ: صَدَقْتُمْ، إِنَّ عَمَلَهُ كَانَ لِغَيْرِ وَجْهِي، فَإِنِّي لَا أَقْبَلُ الْيَوْمَ إِلَّا مَا كَانَ لِوَجْهِي

✧ When the Day of Resurrection comes, deeds will be brought in sealed scrolls. Then the Blessed and Exalted will say: “Accept this and leave that.” The angels will say: “By Your might, we wrote nothing except what he did.” He will say: “You have spoken the truth, but his deed was for other than My sake, and today I accept only what was for My sake.”
