حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ بُكَيْرٍ الطَّيَالِسِيُّ، قَالَ: نَا عُبَيْدُ اللهِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ ابْنُ عَائِشَةَ التَّيْمِيُّ، قَالَ: نَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ، عَنْ لَيْثٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ ثَرْوَانَ، عَنْ هُزَيْلِ بْنِ شُرَحْبِيلَ، عَنْ أَبِي ذَرٍّ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ
كَانَ جَالِسًا وَشَاتَانِ تَعْتَلِفَانِ، فَنَطَحَتْ إِحْدَاهُمَا الْأُخْرَى، فَأَجْهَضَتْهَا، فَضَحِكَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ، فَقِيلَ لَهُ: مَا يُضْحِكُكَ ؟ فَقَالَ: عَجِبْتُ لَهَا، وَالَّذِي نَفْسِي بِيَدِهِ لَيُقَادَنَّ لَهَا يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ

✧ He was sitting while two sheep were fighting, and one of them butted the other and caused it to miscarry. The Messenger of God ﷺ laughed. It was said to him: What makes you laugh? He said: I wonder at it. By the One in whose hand is my soul, it will surely be avenged for on the Day of Resurrection.
