حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ الدِّمَشْقِيُّ قَالَ: نَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ الْعَلَاءِ بْنِ زَبْرٍ قَالَ: نَا أَبِي عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ الْعَلَاءِ، أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ الْقَاسِمَ أَبَا عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ، يُحَدِّثُ. عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ: " قَالَ رَبُّنَا - تَبَارَكَ وَتَعَالَى -:
يَا ابْنَ آدَمَ، إِنْ تُعْطِ الْفَضْلَ فَهُوَ خَيْرٌ لَكَ، وَإِنْ تُمْسِكْهُ فَهُوَ شَرٌّ لَكَ، وَابْدَأْ بِمَنْ تَعُولُ، وَلَا يَلُومُ اللهُ عَلَى الْكَفَافِ، وَالْيَدُ الْعُلْيَا خَيْرٌ مِنَ الْيَدِ السُّفْلَى
