حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ الصَّبَّاحِ، قَالَ: نَا يَحْيَى بْنُ عَيَّاشٍ الْقَطَّانُ، قَالَ: نَا عُمَرُ بْنُ حَبِيبٍ الْقَاضِي، عَنْ خَالِدٍ الْحَذَّاءِ، عَنْ شَهْرِ بْنِ حَوْشَبٍ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ:
إِنِّي كُنْتُ نَهَيْتُكُمْ عَنِ الْأَوْعِيَةِ أَنْ تَنْتَبِذُوا فِيهَا، إِنَّ الْأَوْعِيَةَ لَا تُحِلُّ شَيْئًا وَلَا تُحَرِّمُهُ، فَانْتَبِذُوا فِيمَا بَدَا لَكُمْ، وَاجْتَنِبُوا كُلَّ مُسْكِرٍ.

✧ I had forbidden you from certain vessels, that you should make nabidh in them. Verily, the vessels do not make anything lawful or unlawful. So make nabidh in whatever seems good to you, and avoid every intoxicant.
