حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ التَّمَّارُ، قَالَ: نَا أَبُو مَعْنٍ الرَّقَاشِيُّ، قَالَ: نَا عَبْدُ الْأَعْلَى، قَالَ: ثَنَا سَعِيدٌ الْجُرَيْرِيُّ، عَنْ أَبِي نَضْرَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيِّ، قَالَ:

غَلَا السِّعْرُ عَلَى عَهْدِ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ، فَقَالُوا: يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ سَعِّرْ لَنَا، فَقَالَ: إِنَّ اللهَ هُوَ الْمُسَعِّرُ، إِنِّي لَأَرْجُو أَنْ أَلْقَى اللهَ وَلَيْسَ أَحَدٌ مِنْكُمْ يُطَالِبُنِي بِمَظْلَمَةٍ فِي دِينٍ وَلَا دُنْيَا.

✧ Prices rose during the time of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, so they said: O Messenger of Allah, set prices for us. He said: Indeed Allah is the One who sets prices, and I hope to meet Allah with none of you having a claim against me for any wrong in religion or worldly matters.
