حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَضْرَمِيُّ، قَالَ: نَا ضِرَارُ بْنُ صُرَدٍ أَبُو نُعَيْمٍ، قَالَ: نَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ هَاشِمِ بْنِ الْبَرِيدِ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الْمَلِكِ بْنِ أَبِي سُلَيْمَانَ، عَنْ أَبِي فَرْوَةَ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ أَبِي لَيْلَى، عَنْ أَبِيهِ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ:

لَأُعْطِيَنَّ الرَّايَةَ رَجُلًا يُحِبُّ اللهَ وَرَسُولَهُ، وَيُحِبُّهُ اللهُ وَرَسُولُهُ، فَأَعْطَاهَا عَلِيًّا.
