حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَضْرَمِيُّ، قَالَ: نَا يَحْيَى بْنُ عَبْدِ الْحَمِيدِ الْحِمَّانِيُّ، قَالَ: نَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ شُرَحْبِيلَ الْهَمْدَانِيُّ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عِيسَى، عَنْ عَلْقَمَةَ بْنِ مَرْثَدٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ بُرَيْدَةَ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ:

أَيَسُرُّكُمْ أَنْ تَكُونُوا رُبُعَ أَهْلِ الْجَنَّةِ ؟ فَكَبَّرُوا، ثُمَّ قَالَ: أَيَسُرُّكُمْ أَنْ تَكُونُوا ثُلُثَ أَهْلِ الْجَنَّةِ ؟ فَكَبَّرُوا، ثُمَّ قَالَ: أَيَسُرُّكُمْ أَنْ تَكُونُوا نِصْفَ أَهْلِ الْجَنَّةِ ؟ فَكَبَّرُوا، فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ: النَّاسُ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ عِشْرُونَ وَمِائَةُ صَفٍّ، أُمَّتِي مِنْهَا ثَمَانُونَ صَفًّا.

✧ He said: Would it please you to be a quarter of the people of Paradise? They said takbir. Then he said: Would it please you to be a third of the people of Paradise? They said takbir. Then he said: Would it please you to be half of the people of Paradise? They said takbir. Then the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: On the Day of Resurrection, people will be in one hundred and twenty rows; my Ummah will be eighty of those rows.
