حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَضْرَمِيُّ، قَالَ: ثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ الْفَضْلِ بْنِ مُوَفَّقٍ، قَالَ: نَا أَبِي، عَنِ السَّرِيِّ بْنِ إِسْمَاعِيلَ، عَنِ الشَّعْبِيِّ، عَنْ مَسْرُوقٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ مَسْعُودٍ، قَالَ:
جَاءَ رَجُلٌ إِلَى النَّبِيِّ ﷺ، فَقَالَ: يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ، إِنَّ لِي أَهْلًا وَأُمًّا وَأَبًا، فَأَيُّهُمْ أَحَقُّ بِصِلَتِي ؟ قَالَ: أُمَّكَ، وَأَبَاكَ، وَأُخْتَكَ، وَأَخَاكَ، ثُمَّ أَدْنَاكَ أَدْنَاكَ.

✧ A man came to the Prophet ﷺ and said: “O Messenger of Allah, I have a wife, a mother, and a father. Which of them is most entitled to my kind treatment?” He said: “Your mother, your father, your sister, your brother, then the closer one and the closer one.”
