✧ While we were sitting with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, a group from Banu Hashim - or some youths from Banu Hashim - came. When the Messenger of Allah ﷺ saw them, his face reddened and his eyes filled with tears. We said: 'O Messenger of Allah, we still see in your face something you dislike.' He said: 'We are a household for whom Allah has chosen the Hereafter over this world, and these members of my family will face after me exile and dispersal, until a people come from here, from the east, carrying black banners. They will ask for the truth but will not be given it; then they will ask for the truth but will not be given it.' He said that twice or thrice. 'Then they will fight and be given what they ask for, but they will not accept it until they hand it over to a man from my household, who will fill it with justice just as it was filled with oppression. Whoever lives to see that time, let him go to them even if crawling over snow.'
