✧ When the Prophet ﷺ intended to go out on the expedition of Tabuk, he said to Jadd b. Qays: "O Jadd b. Qays, what do you think about fighting the Banu al-Asfar?" He replied: "O Messenger of Allah, I am a man fond of women, and when I see the women of Banu al-Asfar I will be tempted, so give me permission and do not tempt me." Then Allah, Mighty and Majestic, sent down: "And among them is he who says, 'Permit me and do not tempt me.' Unquestionably, into temptation they have fallen. And indeed, Hell will encompass the disbelievers."
