✧ While I was at a well drawing water, Abu Bakr entered and drew a bucket or two, and his drawing was weak, may Allah forgive him. Then Umar came and drew, and I have never seen a strong man among people who did as he did, until the people had watered their camels and settled them.

  • Qurṭubī

machine translationHis saying "a bucket (dhanūb) or two buckets" is a doubt on the part of one of the narrators. It has come without doubt as "two buckets" in the other narration, and that is better.
