✧ I asked Aishah about wiping over the leather socks. She said: 'Go to Ali b. Abi Talib, for he used to travel with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ.' So I went to him and asked him. He said: 'We used to travel with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, and we would not remove our leather socks for three days and their nights, and for a resident, a day and a night.'
