حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ أَبِي خَيْثَمَةَ قَالَ: نَا عُثْمَانُ بْنُ حَفْصٍ التَّوْمَنِيُّ قَالَ: نَا فَضَالَةُ بْنُ حُصَيْنٍ الْعَطَّارُ قَالَ: ثَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ نَعَامَةَ قَالَ: خَطَبَنَا عُتْبَةُ بْنُ غَزْوَانَ، فَقَالَ: إِنَّ الدُّنْيَا قَدْ آذَنَتْ بِصَرْمٍ، وَوَلَّتْ حَذَّاءً، وَلَمْ يَبْقَ مِنْهَا إِلَّا صُبَابَةٌ كَصُبَابَةِ الْإِنَاءِ
وَلَقَدْ رَأَيْتُنِي سَابِعَ سَبْعَةٍ مَعَ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ عَشَرَةَ أَيَّامٍ مَا لَنَا طَعَامٌ إِلَّا وَرَقُ الْبَشَامِ، وَشَوْكُ الْقَتَادِ حَتَّى قَرِحَتْ أَشْدَاقُنَا
