حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ أَبِي خَيْثَمَةَ قَالَ: نَا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ عَلِيِّ بْنِ يَزِيدَ الصُّدَائِيُّ قَالَ: نَا جُمَيْعُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ، عَنْ عَبَّادِ بْنِ رَاشِدٍ، عَنِ الْحَسَنِ، عَنْ أُمِّهِ، عَنْ أُمِّ سَلَمَةَ، قَالَتْ: سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ:

يَا مُقَلِّبَ الْقُلُوبِ، ثَبِّتْ قَلْبِي عَلَى دِينِكَ، فَلَا دِينَ إِلَّا دِينُكَ ". قُلْتُ: يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ قُلُوبُ الْعِبَادِ بِيَدِ اللهِ ؟ قَالَ: " نَعَمْ، بَيْنَ إِصْبَعَيْنِ مِنْ أَصَابِعِ اللهِ، فَإِذَا أَرَادَ أَنْ يُقَلِّبَ قَلْبَ عَبْدٍ قَلَّبَهُ

✧ "O Turner of hearts, make my heart firm upon Your religion, for there is no religion except Your religion." I said: "O Messenger of God, are the hearts of the servants in the hand of God?" He said: "Yes, between two fingers of the fingers of God; if He wants to turn the heart of a servant, He turns it."
