✧ The poor Muslims came to the Messenger of God ﷺ and said: 'O Messenger of God, the wealthy have taken the ranks. They pray as we pray, fast as we fast, perform Hajj as we perform Hajj, and they have surplus wealth from which they give charity, but we have nothing to give.' He said: 'Shall I not guide you to a deed which, if you do it, you will catch up with those who have preceded you, and no one after you will catch up with you except one who does the like of what you do? Glorify God after every prayer thirty-three times, praise Him thirty-three times, and magnify Him thirty-four times.' That reached the wealthy, and they said the like of what they said, so they came to the Messenger of God ﷺ and informed him. He said: 'That is God's bounty which He gives to whom He wills.'
