    in المعجم الأوسط, p. 5299

machine translationAl-Ḥākim did not declare it weak but remained silent about it, and it is a weak (ḍaʿīf) hadith, because its chain contains Ḥafṣ b. ʿUmar b. Abī al-ʿAṭṭāf al-Madanī, who is very weak (wāhin) and was even accused of lying. Al-Bukhārī said: "his hadith is rejected (munkar al-ḥadīth)."

    in المعجم الأوسط, p. 5299
  • Abū Bakr Aḥmad b. al-Ḥusayn al-Bayhaqī

machine translationḤafṣ b. ʿUmar was alone in narrating it, and he is not strong (laysa bi-l-qawī).
