✧ I sat in the time of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ in a gathering, than which I never sat before it or after it any more enviable to me: the Prophet of Allah ﷺ came out while people were at his chamber arguing about the Qur'an. He came out of the house as if pomegranate seeds had been crushed on his face, or as if blood were dripping from his face, and said: 'O people, was this what you were commanded—to argue about the Qur'an, one part of it against another? The Qur'an was not revealed so that one part of it would contradict another. If a part is ambiguous, then believe in it.'
