حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَلِيِّ بْنِ شُعَيْبٍ قَالَ: نَا خَالِدُ بْنُ خِدَاشٍ قَالَ: نَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ وَهْبٍ قَالَ: نَا عَمْرُو بْنُ الْحَارِثِ، عَنْ عَبْدِ رَبِّهِ بْنِ سَعِيدٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ كَعْبٍ الْحِمْيَرِيِّ، عَنْ عُمَرَ بْنِ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ قَالَ:

سَأَلْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يُقَبِّلُ الصَّائِمُ ؟ فَقَالَ: " سَلْ هَذِهِ " - لِأُمِّ سَلَمَةَ وَهِيَ جَالِسَةٌ - فَقَالَتْ: إِنَّهُ لَيَفْعَلُ. فَقُلْتُ: يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ، قَدْ غَفَرَ اللهُ لَكَ مَا تَقَدَّمَ مِنْ ذَنْبِكَ وَمَا تَأَخَّرَ ؟ قَالَ: أَمَا وَاللهِ، إِنِّي لَأَخْشَاكُمْ لِلهِ وَأَتْقَاكُمْ

✧ I asked the Messenger of Allah ﷺ: "May a fasting person kiss?" He said: "Ask her" — meaning Umm Salamah, who was sitting. She said: "Indeed, he does that." I said: "O Messenger of Allah, Allah has forgiven you your past and future sins?" He said: "Indeed, by Allah, I am the most fearful of Allah among you and the most mindful of Him."
