حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ الْقَاسِمِ قَالَ: نَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عِمْرَانَ بْنِ أَبِي لَيْلَى قَالَ: نَا هَاشِمٌ، جَلِيسٌ لِأَبِي مُعَاوِيَةَ الضَّرِيرِ، عَنْ يَزِيدَ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ أَبِي خَالِدٍ الدَّالَانِيِّ، عَنْ قَيْسِ بْنِ مُسْلِمٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ أَبِي لَيْلَى. عَنْ أَبِيهِ أَبِي لَيْلَى قَالَ:

كُنَّا مَعَ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ فِي غَزَاةٍ، فَغَلَتِ الْقُدُورُ مِنْ لُحُومِ الْحُمُرِ الْأَهْلِيَّةِ، فَأَمَرَنَا بِإِكْفَائِهَا، وَقَسَمَ لِكُلِّ عَشَرَةٍ مِنَّا شَاةً

✧ We were with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ on a military expedition, and the cooking pots boiled with the meat of domesticated donkeys. He ordered us to overturn them, and he distributed to every ten of us a sheep.
