حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ النَّضْرِ قَالَ: نَا مُعَاوِيَةُ بْنُ عَمْرٍو قَالَ: نَا الْمُفَضَّلُ بْنُ صَدَقَةَ، عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي لَيْلَى، عَنْ عَطَاءٍ، عَنْ يَعْلَى بْنِ أُمَيَّةَ قَالَ:
جَاءَ رَجُلٌ إِلَى النَّبِيِّ ﷺ وَعَلَيْهِ جُبَّةٌ مُخَلَّقَةٌ بِصُفْرَةٍ، فَقَالَ: يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ، إِنِّي أَحْرَمْتُ بِعُمْرَةٍ، فَكَيْفَ أَصْنَعُ ؟ قَالَ: فَأَطْرَقَ عَنْهُ طَوِيلًا حَتَّى ظَنَنَّا أَنْ أُوحِيَ إِلَيْهِ، ثُمَّ قَالَ: أَيْنَ السَّائِلُ عَنِ الْعُمْرَةِ ؟ اخْلَعْ جُبَّتَكَ، وَاغْسِلِ الصُّفْرَةَ، وَاصْنَعْ فِي الْعُمْرَةِ كَمَا تَصْنَعُ فِي الْحَجِّ
Translation

✧ A man came to the Prophet ﷺ wearing a jubbah smeared with yellow perfume, and said: O Messenger of Allah, I have entered ihram for 'Umrah; what should I do? He (the Prophet ﷺ) bowed his head for a long time until we thought that revelation was coming to him. Then he said: "Where is the one asking about 'Umrah? Take off your jubbah, wash off the yellow perfume, and do in 'Umrah what you do in Hajj."
