حَدَّثَنَا فُضَيْلُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الْمَلَطِيُّ قَالَ: نَا أَبُو نُعَيْمٍ قَالَ: نَا أَبُو الدَّوْسِ قَالَ:
جَاءَنِي رَجُلٌ يُقَالُ لَهُ: أَبُو مَعْقِلٍ، فَقَالَ لِي: اكْتُبْ، فَكَتَبَ: بِسْمِ اللهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ أَبَا هُرَيْرَةَ، يَقُولُ: أَوْصَانِي خَلِيلِي أَبُو الْقَاسِمِ ﷺ بِصَوْمِ ثَلَاثَةِ أَيَّامٍ مِنْ كُلِّ شَهْرٍ، وَنَوْمٍ عَلَى وِتْرٍ، وَتَسْبِيحِ الضُّحَى
Translation

✧ A man called Abu Ma'qil came to me and said, "Write." He wrote: "In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful." He said: I heard Abu Hurayrah say: My beloved Abu al-Qasim ﷺ enjoined upon me fasting three days of every month, sleeping after performing Witr, and glorifying Allah in the forenoon (Duha).
