Translation

✧ The Messenger of God ﷺ came out one day holding the hand of Abū Dharr and said, "O Abū Dharr, do you know that before us there is a steep and difficult pass that none will ascend except the light ones?" A man said, "O Messenger of God, am I among the light ones or the heavy ones?" He said, "Do you have food for a day?" He said, "Yes." "And food for tomorrow?" He said, "Yes." "And food for the day after tomorrow?" He said, "No." He said, "If you had food for three days, you would be among the heavy ones."
