حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ الْمُثَنَّى بْنِ مُطَاعِ بْنِ عِيسَى بْنِ مُطَاعِ بْنِ زِيَادَةَ بْنِ مُسْلِمِ بْنِ مَسْعُودِ بْنِ الضَّحَّاكِ بْنِ جَابِرِ بْنِ عَدِيِّ بْنِ أَرْشِ بْنِ جَدِيلَةَ بْنِ لَخْمٍ أَبُو مَسْعُودٍ اللَّخْمِيُّ قَالَ: حَدَّثَنِي الْمُثَنَّى، عَنْ أَبِيهِ مُطَاعٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ عِيسَى، عَنْ أَبِيهِ مُطَاعٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ زِيَادَةَ، عَنْ جَدِّهِ مَسْعُودٍ
أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ، سَمَّاهُ مُطَاعًا، وَقَالَ لَهُ: يَا مُطَاعُ، أَنْتَ مُطَاعٌ فِي قَوْمِكَ، وَحَمَلَهُ عَلَى فَرَسٍ أَبْلَقَ، وَأَعْطَاهُ الرَّايَةَ، وَقَالَ لَهُ: " يَا مُطَاعُ، امْضِ إِلَى أَصْحَابِكَ، فَمَنْ دَخَلَ تَحْتَ رَايَتِي هَذِهِ فَقَدْ أَمِنَ مِنَ الْعَذَابِ
