حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ الْحُسَيْنِ أَبُو مَسْعُودٍ الصَّابُونِيُّ التُّسْتَرِيُّ قَالَ: نَا عَبْدُ الْأَعْلَى بْنُ وَاصِلِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الْأَعْلَى قَالَ: نَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ صُبَيْحٍ الْيَشْكُرِيُّ قَالَ: نَا مُبَارَكُ بْنُ حَسَّانَ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ قَالَ:

كُنَّا نُسَافِرُ مَعَ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ، فَإِذَا رَأَى الْقَرْيَةَ يُرِيدُ أَنْ يَدْخُلَهَا قَالَ: اللَّهُمَّ بَارِكْ لَنَا فِيهَا - ثَلَاثَ مَرَّاتٍ -، اللَّهُمَّ ارْزُقْنَا جَنَاهَا، وَحَبِّبْنَا إِلَى أَهْلِهَا، وَحَبِّبْ صَالِحِي أَهْلِهَا إِلَيْنَا

✧ We used to travel with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, and when he saw a village that he intended to enter, he would say: “O Allah, bless us in it” — three times — “O Allah, provide us its fruits, and make us beloved to its people, and make the righteous among its people beloved to us.”
