حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ عَمْرٍو أَبُو زُرْعَةَ قَالَ: نَا يَحْيَى بْنُ صَالِحٍ الْوُحَاظِيُّ قَالَ: نَا يُونُسُ بْنُ عُثْمَانَ الْمُقْرِي، عَنْ رَاشِدِ بْنِ سَعْدٍ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، قَالَتْ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ:
إِذَا أَرَادَ اللهُ بِعَبْدٍ خَيْرًا عَسَلَهُ. قُلْتُ: وَكَيْفَ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ يَعْسِلُهُ ؟ قَالَ: " يُوَفِّقُهُ لِعَمَلٍ صَالِحٍ قَبْلَ مَوْتِهِ بِسَنَةٍ، فَيَقْبِضُهُ عَلَيْهِ

✧ When Allah wills good for a servant, He sweetens him. I said: How does He sweeten him, O Messenger of Allah? He said: "He grants him success to do a righteous deed a year before his death, then takes his soul while he is upon it."
