Translation

✧ The Prophet ﷺ said to his Companions: “Among trees, there is a tree whose leaves do not fall, and it is the one struck as a parable for the believing servant. What is it?” They began mentioning trees of the valley. He said: “It is the date-palm.” ʿAbd Allah said: “It occurred to me, but I was too shy to tell.”
